Hawaiian Luau at Westerwood

June 7 • 2-4pm

Join us for a delicious outdoor luau with complimentary Hawaiian food and tropical mimosas. Plus, The Loudest Hawaiian Shirt and Dress contest! However, we’re replacing the traditional Hawaiian tunes with live polka music by Ken & Mary of the Accordion Turbo Express. Why? Because like its 180+ live events each year, Westerwood is different from other Life Care communities! At the luau, you can tour the many new amenities we’ve recently added to our community and our brand-new triplex apartments, The Gardens at Westerwood, complete with garages and your choice of one or two bedrooms.

“Oh My Aching…!” Event

June 14 • 2pm

How to manage aches and pains with less medication. Whether it is arthritis or other types of chronic pain, Janet Kohn from Central Ohio Area Agency on Aging will discuss smart strategies, tips, and techniques to reduce different types of pain and find support for chronic conditions. She’ll catch you up on the latest science on inflammation and pain management, demonstrate simple techniques and exercises, and discuss modalities, diet, and lifestyle changes you can bring to your doctor. The goal is to gain more relief with less medication. Join us and enjoy healthy appetizers and refreshing drinks with anti-inflammatory properties.
