Our beautiful 23-acre campus offers a variety of outdoor activities, while our programs and classes cater to all interests and ages. Start your dream garden, learn a new language, attend lively events or join a community club. Now is the time to enjoy your hobbies in a place where you can truly be yourself.

Music takes center stage in our community. Show off your vocal ability by joining one of our many resident musical groups. If you play an instrument or always wanted to, our highly popular band featuring drums, trumpet, violin, piano and more is sure to strike a chord.

Join us for Monday Night Movies! Enjoy buttery popcorn and unlimited laughs with friends while watching your favorite films.

Enjoy more than 120 on-site concerts, programs, sporting events, performances and lectures each year—all just steps from your front door.

Our on-site chaplain offers a variety of spiritual services, including religious guidance, weekly vespers services, various support groups and spiritual book studies. 

Explore your creativity in our fully equipped art studio, which features craft materials and a kiln. With an art coordinator to guide you, you can enjoy pottery, painting, photography, basket weaving and more.

Our professional woodshop is stocked with all the tools you need to bring your projects to life. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced woodworker, you’ll have the chance to create something beautiful.

For additional recreational opportunities, we have close ties with the Westerville Senior Center. Enjoy swimming, water aerobics, dance lessons or join in on a friendly card game.

You can request an elevated garden or a ground-level plot to grow whatever you choose. Share ideas and best practices with your fellow garden enthusiasts.

Residents have access to a variety of workshops, lectures, sporting games and mini courses at Otterbein University. More than a few retired Ohio State University and Otterbein alumni call Westerwood home. Explore topics ranging from art and history to health and social issues, all intended to promote a journey of Lifelong Learning.

Come chat and mingle with fellow book lovers in our book club or share your creative stories in the Village Writers Group. We also have an extensive in-house library and monthly visits from the Westerville Public Library to help keep your reading list fresh.
